Getting Started with the Advertiser Recommendations Tool

The Advertiser Recommendations tool is designed to help you manage campaign performance proactively and efficiently.

What is the Advertiser Recommendations Tool?

The Advertiser Recommendations tool provides real-time alerts and performance improvement suggestions at the campaign level. These alerts are designed to help you:

  • Identify and address campaign issues early

  • Optimize return on ad spend (ROAS)

  • Drive better overall results with less guesswork

Each recommendation is tailored to the specific behavior of your campaigns, giving you actionable insights when and where you need them most.

Where to Find It

You can access the Advertiser Recommendations dashboard by navigating to the top toolbar and selecting “Campaigns.”
The recommendations section will be prominently displayed within this area.

Understanding Alerts

The tool uses a color-coded alert system to prioritize recommendations based on urgency:

  • 🟡 Yellow Alerts
These indicate early-stage issues that may affect performance down the line. Think of them as proactive nudges to review and adjust before problems arise.

  • 🔴 Red Alerts
These are critical alerts requiring immediate action to prevent or reverse a significant drop in campaign performance.

What’s Included in Each Alert

Every alert includes the following components to guide your decision-making:

Observation

A clear, concise explanation of what issue has been detected (e.g., under-delivery, low click-through rate, or high cost-per-click).

Recommendation

An actionable step you can take to resolve the issue—such as adjusting your budget, raising your bid, or updating your targeting.

Expected Outcome

A forecasted result of what kind of performance improvement you might see if the recommendation is implemented.

Why Use the Advertiser Recommendations Tool?

As a new advertiser, this tool helps you:

  • Build confidence in campaign management by highlighting what needs attention

  • Stay proactive with real-time alerts and solutions

  • Maximize results without needing deep technical expertise

  • Save time by focusing your effort on high-impact actions
